  • What is BIOCheck?
    BIOCheck is a functional study which aids in analyzing the current health & status of the biological system in a waste water treatment plant. The test provides quantitative and qualitative analysis of the microbial population present in the biological system. Success of any biological treatment process depends on the presence of effective micro and macro fauna in the effluent.

  • What parameters can be assessed using “BIOCheck” study?
    “BIOCheck” study can be employed for analyzing the micro and macro fauna and assessing their efficacy to degrade the organic matter present in the effluent. The study also includes the microscopic analysis of the biomass to identify the species and their significance in the given sample.

    Known consortium of beneficial and highly effective microbes is added in measured amount of effluent and aerated. Sample aliquots are drawn and are further analyzed for numerous parameters periodically. These parameters include COD, pH and TDS. If any issue is encountered in the effluent, the colour and odour of the sample are also assessed.

  • When to use BIOCheck?
    BIOCheck should be done in following conditions:

    a. To detect quality of biomass present in the biological system
    b. To identify the filaments and assess their impacts
    c. To check the presence of higher life forms

  • How much quantity of sample required for BIOCheck?
    Minimum 2 liters of well mixed biomass sample from the aeration tank is required for BIOCheck analysis.

  • What is the time frame for completion of BIOCheck?
    Analysis report for BIOCheck can be submitted within 5 days of receipt of sample at our R&D facility.

  • What is BIOSure?
    BIOSure is a treatability /feasibility study that confirms suitability & sustainability microbes in treatment of specific effluents.
    It is imperative to identify the right consortium of microbes to facilitate the effective degradation of pollutants in the waste water treatment plant. The quality of the requisite bacterial population for effective treatment varies from effluent to effluent. BIOSure analysis helps to select micro-organisms that occur naturally and are competent at performing specific tasks for specific effluent streams.

  • When to use BIOSure?

    BIOSure can be used in following conditions
    a. To check the biodegradability of the specific effluent samples
    b. Low efficiency of Biological system
    c. Prior or during the commissioning of the biological system
