Some microbes which reap immense benefits to humankind and environment are classified as probiotics. This brings us to the central question, “What is the essence of our technology?

In real world, microbes live and proliferate as consortia, as small niche ecosystems, in the environment but not in isolation. Real world conditions are different than laboratory simulations. Some microbes are better at producing degenerative enzymes while some are better at consuming broken down pollutants. This consortium of microbes and enzymatic system performs better than any single microbe/enzyme system. It is by changing the microbial/enzymatic ecosystem that we change the local environment be it in WWTP, in agriculture, aquaculture, lake/ponds, animal probiotics, industrial processes, or anywhere else.
